The Hillsdale Community Foundation (http://www.abouthccf.org/) is accepting nominations for Hillsdale County Teacher of the Year now through February 17, 2012. Nomination forms can be completed online by visiting the HCF website HERE, downloading the form HERE, or by picking up a hardcopy of the form at any school office.

Benefit Dinner for Alisha Dell
As many of you know Alisha Dell, Jonesville High School Senior, was involved in a car accident two weeks ago.  She is at Borgess Hospital and will have a long road to recovery.  The Class of 2012 will be holding a Spagetti Dinner, catered by Fazolis, on February 11th from 5-7pm in the high school cafetorium.  Tickets are $7 per person and are available in the high school guidance office or from a member of the senior class.  All money raised will be given to the family to help with expenses.

Spaghetti with marinara sauce or meat sauce
Breadsticks
Salad with assorted dressings

Jonesville High School Hat Day
The Jonesville High School Interact Club will be sponsoring a hat day on Friday, February 3, to raise funds for Alisha Dell and her family.  Staff and students wishing to participate will need to stop into the guidance office on Friday morning and pay $1 to get a stamp that will allow the wearing of a hat during school.  The Interact Club will match all donations made and the classes with the most hats will be released early for lunch the next week.  So please bring a dollar and a hat on Friday to help support Alisha and her family.    
Theatre Auditions
Theatre Auditions:
Jonesville Community Schools will present the Shakespearean comedy "A Midsummer Night's Dream" on April 27, 28 and 29, 2012.  ALL Jonesville Middle and High school students are welcome to audition to be a part of this fun-filled comedy that offers a variety of roles and crazy characters!!!  Auditions will be held on Wednesday, February 8th and Thursday, February 9, 2012 in the High School Band Room.  Please pick up an audition packet at the office for times and details.  Information packets and audition forms will be available in the school office starting Wednesday February 1st!
