JCS Take Out Meals Distribution

In order to help families who may be struggling during the shut down, the Jonesville Community School district has created a  “take out” meals day. Prepared meals are available for all children in the community ages 18 and under. Children are not required to be of school age or to attend Jonesville Schools to get a meal.  Other schools are also providing this service for all children in the county. Our pick up schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, April 7th from 11:30 to 1:00,  breakfasts and lunches for four days
Starting Monday April 13th and each Monday thereafter from 11:30 to 1:00
lunches and breakfasts for the week will be available

Please enter the Maumee Street lot, stay in your vehicle, and meals will be brought to you.  .

We hope that you are all safe and sound.  Remember to have your children check for their schoolwork and stay on a normal schedule as much as possible.

Sincerely,

Chellie Broesamle, Superintendent

Robert and Ellen Thompson Grant

Robert Thompson graduated from Jonesville Community Schools in 1950.  He and his wife donated funds to Jonesville schools so that each student could have a Chromebook or an Ipad to enhance their learning.  They also provided funds to purchase the tools for our Industrial Arts labs and computer labs and video cameras for our broadcasting department. Our students are truly benefitting from their generosity.  In addition to all of the wonderful devices, equipment and training, they are helping to provide for the future of our students.  Ellen devised the Working Families Scholarship that helps families pay for college.  It is amazing and we are extremely grateful for the Thompsons.
