This is a message from Kim Bolenbaugh, Food Service Director at Jonesville Community Schools.
As all of you are aware, this school year will be different than in the past. Some of our Jonesville students will be learning from home. The Food Service Department would like you to know, that we are willing to do meals for those virtual students. I am requesting an email response from all parents who wish to have meals prepared to pick up for your students. Meals will be picked up on Monday (or the first day of the school week) from the school building that your student attends. The meals provided will be for the entire week, which includes breakfast and lunch. The child does not have to be present when picking up the food. Students must be enrolled in Jonesville Community Schools to receive the meals. The district will provided FREE breakfasts and lunches for every JCS student through the end of
December. Meal pickup time will be 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for the following pick up areas:
Williams Elementary, front of building, front doors
Middle School and Pathways, back of school, auto shop area
High School, west parking lot entrance, cafeteria doors
I am requesting an email response Thursday, September 3rd, by 2:00 p.m. for the first week of school.
For each following week’s meals, the request should be submitted on the Friday before by 2:00 p.m. This request should be sent to. Free and reduced lunch forms are still required and need to be returned to your student’s school office. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at 517-826-7008.
Thank you and let’s get this school year started!
