What's Happening at Williams Weekly Update

Weekly Update for October 17, 2021

  • It was so very nice to see many parents and guardians in the building last week for parent/teacher conferences. Thank you for working with us to help our students, your children, be as successful as possible.

  • We would like to extend a warm William’s Welcome to our new school nurse, Mrs. Shelby Mayes. Shelby did a wonderful job last week getting to know students and her new routine. We are so happy to have her here with us.

  • Our next Dollar Day is this Friday, October 22nd. The theme is “Funky Mismatch”. Dig out those clothes, shoes, and accessories that do not go together and wear them on Friday. We look forward to seeing all of the crazy outfits!

REMINDERS

  • If you need to make an after-school change for your child, please contact the office before 12:00 (noon) to ensure that the message is recorded correctly. We can not guarantee that changes made after 2:00 pm will be received in time. Additionally, please make sure that changes go through the office and not the classroom teacher as it is possible that the teacher may not be at school that day. We appreciate your help in this matter.

  • We want to remind parents who use the front drive for drop-off and pick-up that you should not park and leave your car. This causes the flow of traffic to become backed-up. We appreciate your help with this.

  • Parents who use the back lot for drop-off and pick-up: Please be sure to pull as far up along the sidewalk as possible. This will allow traffic to get out of the road more quickly.

  • We would also like to remind everyone that our teachers are with students during the school day and they may not be able to respond to phone calls, texts, or emails during school hours. We have asked that they get back with parents within 24 hours, excluding the weekend.

Again, thank you for sharing your children with us. We are looking forward to another wonderful week here at Williams!
