  • Our District has started a new Social Emotional Curriculum called TRAILS (Transforming Research into Action to Improve the Lives of Students).  These lessons will be for all KP-12th grade students and will give our students more tools in their life tool belt.  Students will learn about self awareness, self management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.  If you are interested in seeing the lessons, please contact either principal.

  • Vacation Bible School is back this year!  This is an opportunity for all K-Prep through 5th grade students.  Permission slips have been sent home.  With parent permission, students can leave our building and be transported by a church bus to the Jonesville Lutheran Church for Bible study.   If you choose this option, your student will leave the building for 1 hour once a month.

  • On Friday, October 28th we will be having our Halloween Parade in the morning for the students and classroom parties will take place in the afternoon.  Our Dollar Day for the month of October is this day as well, so the $1 donation to the Student Activity Fund is optional.

  • If you are signed up to volunteer for a party, please make sure that you have done your background check as we will be cross-referencing lists. If you are sending in treats or food for the party, they must be store bought.  Also, please make sure your student's costume for school has no weapons, no face mask, and no blood or gore. We need to see our students' faces for accountability purposes and we do not want any students feeling afraid.  Thanks!

  • Lastly, we are looking for someone who is interested in being a sub nurse for us when our school nurse is out.  This person would need to be a RN or LPN.  If you are interested please contact Principal Ryan Grimm at 517-826-7111 or rgrimm@jonesvilleschools.org
