Athletic update for Wednesday, December 10:


Middle school boys basketball at Columbia Central is canceled.
Boys and girls bowling at Suburban Lanes against Michigan Center is canceled.
Boys varsity basketball at Manchester is canceled.
All practices - high school and middle school - are canceled for today.
We are working on makeup dates for the high school events and will let the coaches know when that is finalized.

This evening is Military Appreciation Night!

The men’s basketball program is having a Military Appreciation Night on Dec 5. We will be keeping it simple this year and will look to expand the event heading into the future. Free admission for active military and to our veterans. The varsity team will wear a camo style shooting shirt. At the conclusion of the varsity warm up, we will ask all veterans and active military to line the sidelines and baselines for the National Anthem to be sung by junior Amelia Trine.

Athletic updates for Monday, Dec 1:

The middle school boys basketball game and middle school practices for today are canceled per school policy with snow days.
High school practices can take place after 12:00. Coaches will be reaching out to their athletes with their plan for the day.

Military Appreciation Night!

Winter Sports Pre-season meeting for all Jonesville High School students interested in playing a winter sport will take place on Thursday, November 6, at 7:00pm in the high school gym.

November 10th is the first day for bowling and competitive cheer.
Boys basketball starts on November 12th.
Wrestling starts on November 17th.
Girls basketball starts on November 19th.

This meeting is for all athletes and their parents/guardians. The meeting will take less than an hour. The meeting will start out with a quick review of the athletic handbook and certain points of emphasis. The athletic handbook will need to be signed by any student athlete that did not participate in a fall sport and a parent/guardian by the end of their first week of practice. The athletic trainer will also be there to discuss the protocols and procedures that need to be followed. We will finish up with each athlete attending a sport specific meeting with the coaching staff of that sport to go over program expectations and hand out schedules.

State Tournament updates for fall sports:

The varsity football team travels to Bronson today, October 31, for a 7:00pm showdown. Per MHSAA guidelines, all tickets must be purchased through GoFan.co and no passes of any kind are allowed. Visitor seating is limited, so feel free to bring lawn chairs. The field is not very handicap accessible. If you know of a spectator who needs accommodations, Bronson can allow them to park inside the complex. Please have someone notify the Bronson athletic director of their arrival, and they will ensure they are let in. Artificial noisemakers are NOT allowed.

The State Finals for boys and girls cross country are tomorrow, November 1, at MIS Saturday. Girls D3 run at 10:10, boys at 11:30. Entrance opens at 7:30. Tickets are $11 per person though GoFan.co. Parking is included in that price.

The volleyball team will be competing in the District tournament at Hillsdale High School next week. On Monday, November 3, the girls will play Hillsdale at 5:00. With a Monday victory, they would play on Wednesday, November 5, at 5:00 against Hanover-Horton. A victory over Hanover-Horton would place us into the finals on Friday, November 7, at 6:00. Per MHSAA guidelines, no passes are allowed and ticket must be purchased through GoFan.co.

Mark your calendars! Tuesday, November 18th will be our annual Financial Aid/FAFSA Night for seniors and their parents. This session will be a break down of what financial aid is and how it works. Parents and students will have the opportunity to work on their 2026-27 FAFSA form in a workshop following the presentation! We hope to see you there!

Here are some details for the Friday, Oct 31, football playoff game at Bronson High School. Game time is 7:00pm.

Admissions: All tickets are $7.00 and must be purchased via the GoFan app. Bronson will have a credit card reader at the gate as well!

Passes: There will be NO PASSES!

Visitor Seating: Visitor seating is limited, so feel free to bring lawn chairs! Just remember, all lawn chair seating must be outside the fence.

No Pets: Leashed service animals are permitted; please bring waste disposal bags and request special seating before the event.

Radio/Tape Players: These items are prohibited at MHSAA tournaments. Personal style players and radios are permitted so long as the sound is restricted to the listening of an individual.

Congrats to our varsity football team who punched their ticket to the State Playoffs with their 22-0 victory over Manchester on Friday! We will travel to Bronson on Friday, October 31, for a 7:00pm showdown. Per MHSAA guidelines, all tickets must be purchased through GoFan.co and no passes of any kind are allowed.

On the other side of the District bracket, it is Union City traveling to Hanover-Horton. The winners will play on November 7 or 8.
