Our Square One Robotics Team had a great day at the 2025 V2X (Vehicle to Everything) 2025 Competition at Oakland Community College. The members had a great showing with in-person competition tasks, a Perfect Pitch speech, and representing JHS! Out of 22 schools, our V2X Team was awarded first place for their Engineering Journal! Congratulations to senior Chad Wickham, junior Caleb Morts, and sophomores Quintinn and Taylor Ferguson! Over the past few months the Animal Science course has been learning about different species of animals as well as their breeds and purposes. The students were able to learn about all of the facets of rabbits and then were able to watch the reproduction cycle in real time. All of the students are now able to enjoy the baby rabbit snuggles when down at the barn. The Advanced Agriculture class also took on the responsibility of caring for the rabbits during the week and weekends. Some of the baby rabbits will now be used for an FFA competition, on May 1st, to complete the life cycle of the meat rabbits. All of the students have worked diligently to be able to apply what they learned in class down at the barn on a weekly basis.

Our Food Service Department recently purchased new tables for the Middle and High School cafeterias. The students now have a nice place to enjoy their meals. The tables are decorated with the Jonesville logo and show off our school colors. A huge thank you to the kitchen staff for helping unload the tables and the maintenance staff for all of the assembling they did. Be sure to check out these new tables the next time you are in the high school or middle school!
