Congratulations to Kody Drake for being this year’s Brad Boyle award winner!

Great news! Last night at our board meeting, the board approved construction of the FFA barn! The plan is to have this done by the end of June! Go Comets!

Thank you to Raker-Roberta's Young Plants for their donations of flowers and plants for our Senior night and Graduation. They look beautiful and really make a difference on stage.

Updated pictures! Note: These pictures are from last week's work so more has been done. They just look better than mine!

It's almost summer which means our Summer Meal Program is back. Meet Up and Eat Up with us beginning on Tuesday, June 3rd at the Williams Elementary School.
Meals are grab and go. Please bring help to carry out if needed. Any child under the age of 18 is eligible for meals, they do not have to be a student of Jonesville Community Schools to participate. Be sure to check out the map for parking instructions and follow the signs for pick up directions. We will see you on the 3rd!

Athletic update for 2025 football
There will be a parent/player meeting on Wednesday, May 28th, at 6:00 PM in the high school gym for all students in current grades 6th - 11th interested in playing football next fall. During the meeting, the coaching staff will conduct an official sign-up and distribute the summer schedule. The schedule will include important dates for team camps and 7-on-7 events as well as summer workout times. Please remember that a physical will be required before an athlete can practice. Contact varsity coach Frank Keller with any questions at 517-962-8688 or frank@midstarhomebuilders.com

Good evening Comet families! I’m reaching out to you tonight to give you a quick update on a couple of things.
We received one bid for the FFA barn but it was beyond our budget so we are working on soliciting more bids. My hope is that we will be able to get a couple more bids and vote on the construction piece at the board meeting on the 27th. We have already purchased the materials so it will be ready to go. Between the groundwork, surveys, architects, and materials we have spent over 80% of the grant money for the project so we are in good shape. I do apologize for it taking so long.
The second item to update you on is what to do with the old track. The board discussed this at our study session this week and they decided to just wait a while before making a decision. We know the community enjoys using the track.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Go Comets!

This is our third year of offering the Litchfield Regional Training Center Racing Challenge summer camp. This is a STEM focused summer camp that is offered to middle school and high school students. High School offered the week of July 21-24 and Middle School August 4-8. This is a great week of learning, at an extremely reasonable cost of $50 per student, due to sponsorships provided by local businesses.
