What’s Happening at Williams Week of 1-22-24

  • Our January Dollar Day will be this Friday. The theme is Hat Day! Students should wear their favorite hat. The money from this day will go to a program called Keagan Cares which helps families in need.  We encourage everyone to participate for this good cause.

  • Also, this Friday will be our Kid’s Heart Challenge kick-off. This fundraiser will allow us to collect funds for the American Heart Association. Look for more information to come from your child and their teacher.

  • Winter weather is here and we ask that your child come to school to be outside for 25 minutes at a time. This includes wearing a winter coat, hats, gloves, snow pants, and snow boots. If you do not have any of these items, please contact the office and we will see what we can do to help out.

  • Students will be taking the Winter NWEA test this week. It will be helpful if you make sure they get a good night’s rest each night before testing. Also, if they have headphones, please make sure that they are at school so they can be used for testing. We look forward to seeing how much they have learned so far this year!

  • Williams Elementary PTA Purse Bingo Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, April 13th.  Our first committee planning meeting will be Thursday, February 8th at 6 pm in the elementary library.  We are looking for people who would like to join our committees to help get sponsorships, work the event, and organize the event. The money we raise will go towards our new playground equipment.  We hope to see you there!
